October 26, 2005

SYSTEM OF A DOWN singer Serj Tankian appears in the video for eccentric guitarist Buckethead's new song, "We Are One", which the former GUNS N' ROSES axeman will debut this Saturday (October 29) on MTV2's "Headbanger's Ball". Tankian contributes vocals to the track, which appears on both Buckethead's new album, "Enter the Chicken", and the soundtrack to the upcoming "Masters of Horror" cable series. "Enter the Chicken" hit the streets yesterday (Tuesday, October 25),while the "Masters of Horror" CD was released on October 18.

Tankian released "Enter the Chicken" on his own label, Serjical Strike Records.

Tankian is one of 11 different singers who appear on the disc, with styles ranging from opera to rap to world music to rock.

Buckethead quit GUNS N' ROSES in 2004 after reportedly becoming fed up with the band's inability to tour and release its long-delayed "Chinese Democracy" album.

Buckethead is on the road and plays tonight (Wednesday, October 26) in Falls Church, Virginia. He always performs with a mask and KFC bucket covering his head.
